Teila is not an open image marketplace. Every party is verified, every licence is documented and personal data is handled with care.

- Verified buyers
- Every buyer is a company verified before it can license talent. Each request is tied to a real company, project and set of terms, so agencies and talent always know who is licensing a likeness, for what use and under which conditions.
- Verified talent
- Every talent verifies their identity and gives written consent to AI licensing, directly or through their agency.
- Specialist providers
- Identity and company verification rely on specialist providers, and payments on Stripe, a regulated payment institution. Every licence is signed digitally.
- Controlled delivery
- Reference image packs are delivered only within a signed licence, with an invisible watermark unique to each download and C2PA content credentials.
- Data protection
- Personal data is handled in line with the GDPR. Our database and files are hosted in the EU, with access limited to what each licence requires.
The tools Teila provides, and where its role ends.
Watermark and C2PA content credentials show where a delivered file came from, giving rights holders the evidence to act on any use outside the licence; they do not follow what is generated afterwards. Teila does not review the content buyers generate, does not monitor how licensed material is used after delivery and does not give legal advice.
If a likeness is misused.
Every licence is backed by documented consent, signed agreements, a certificate and verifiable records. In case of suspected misuse, Teila provides agencies and talent with the documentation and technical evidence of what was authorised; legal action remains with the rights holders.
