Human by design.
Not only adapting to the transition, but taking part in shaping it, with people at its centre.
A new way of making images.
AI has changed how images are made. A face, a scene, a performance can now be generated in minutes, by almost anyone. It is a creative opening, and we welcome it.
People at the centre.
Every new tool raises the same question: where do people stand in it? Our answer is at the centre. AI can extend the work of people rather than replace it, as long as those who take part do so by choice, on clear terms and for a fair fee.
A likeness is personal.
Images are easier to make than ever, and a likeness remains someone's own. Not everyone will want to license theirs. Those who do should be able to do it well, on their own terms, with the tools to manage it.
What production already knows.
We come from advertising and content production. There, working with talent has always rested on a few practices: representation, consent for a defined use, fees agreed project by project. They are not obstacles to new tools. They are what makes working with people possible, and they belong in AI production too.
Where Teila comes from.
Teila was born from a need we met in our own productions: bringing professional talent into AI work without improvising rights, contracts or consent. So we built a shared space where talent and their agencies set the terms of their likeness in advance, and productions license it within them, with every licence documented.
What comes next.
Today, Teila works with talent and their agencies. Over time, it will make room for other professionals whose taste, craft and judgement bring value to AI production, from stylists to make-up artists.
